Engine oil level and condition
Remove the dipstick, wipe it, reinsert it, and withdraw it again to read the level. Also inspect the oil’s appearance.
Interacts with: engine-oil dipstick and rag.
52 checks. Two machines. A source image, short description, and component list for every task.
How to read the counts: mixed checks count once as interactive. Conditional cleaning or tightening does not change a visual check’s category. Repeated occurrences stay on the same task.
Image limits: dump-truck screenshots come from the video; ADT images are 320 × 180 storyboard samples. Images show source context—not proof that every action was demonstrated. Described-only checks remain flagged.

Would interact with: housing latches, cover, and air-filter element.
Check that the reservoir contains an adequate amount of washer fluid.
Inspects: washer-fluid reservoir.
Check low beams, high beams, turn signals, and brake lights for operation. Lights are shown, but the complete switching sequence isn’t demonstrated.
Components: lighting switches, brake pedal, and exterior lamps.
Check that the tarp deploys over the load; the footage shows the tarp in different positions.
Components: tarp, support arms, and operating mechanism; control handling isn’t shown.
Verify that the bed raises and lowers. The footage shows the bed being raised.
Components: dump-body controls and hydraulic hoist; control handling isn’t shown.
Confirm that the latches on both sides are properly engaged before travel. The presenter points out the latch rather than demonstrating an unlatch/re-latch test.
Inspects: left and right tailgate latches.
Remove, wipe, reinsert, and withdraw the dipstick; read the cold-start level.
Interacts with: transmission-oil dipstick and cloth.
Recheck the transmission-oil level after the machine reaches operating temperature. An on-screen note also calls for checking the dashboard temperature gauge.
Components: transmission dipstick and engine-temperature gauge.
Remove, wipe, reinsert, and read the dipstick to verify the recommended level. On-screen guidance specifies a cold engine.
Interacts with: engine-oil dipstick and cloth.
Access the dropbox beneath the panel, undo and remove the dipstick, wipe it, reinsert it, and read the level.
Interacts with: access panel, dropbox dipstick, and cloth.
Look for loose components, cracks, and other defects.
Inspects: engine and visible engine-bay components.
Read the coolant sight gauge. Do not open the expansion-tank cap when hot.
Inspects: coolant expansion tank and sight gauge.
Confirm the fluid is between the minimum and maximum marks.
Inspects: hydraulic-tank sight gauge.
Look underneath and around the vehicle for leaks, oil puddles, or objects that could interfere with operation. This check is repeated during the walkaround.
Inspects: underside and surrounding ground.
Check that the lens is clean and undamaged.
Inspects/interacts with: front-camera lens.
Confirm caps are secure and there are no leaks. A distinct tightening test isn’t established by the sampled frames.
Components: fluid filler caps and surrounding areas.
Check that the self-greasing system is topped up; no refill is demonstrated.
Inspects: automatic-greasing reservoir.
Check condition and security. Mirror positioning is addressed separately before driving.
Inspects: mirror glass and mountings.
Check their condition during the cab-side inspection.
Inspects: cab glazing.
Check condition and security for safe access.
Inspects: access steps, handrails, and mountings.
Look for defects and leaks. Later, the presenter specifically mentions cracks and leakage at the rams.
Inspects: hydraulic connections, hoses, and cylinders.
Check condition and security.
Inspects: rear A-frame and driveshafts.
Look for deep cuts and possible punctures.
Inspects: tires, including exposed tread and sidewalls.
Look for oil leaks.
Inspects: final-drive housings at the wheels.
Check security; no wrench or torque test is demonstrated.
Inspects: wheel nuts and their seating.
Inspect the rear lighting and camera equipment. A separate lights-operation check follows later.

This packages the original check lists; timestamps are approximate. The Excel file includes a summary, one data sheet per machine, all 52 task screenshots, and source/scope notes.
Not counted as condition checks: ADT access preparation (0:30–1:15), starting/warming and cab setup (4:28–4:58), and recording/reporting results (5:53). Mirror positioning remains a separate interactive task.
Checks described rather than fully shown include belt tension, tire pressure, tread measurement, air-filter removal, and the warm transmission recheck. Related checks may share a representative frame.
Video inventory, not an operating manual. Follow applicable manufacturer and site procedures. Review the first video’s slack-adjuster measurement and filter-cleaning guidance before incorporating it into training.
