QA Is Taken Seriously
A colleague explicitly validates the regression cases. Other colleagues describe making changes in response to Miguel’s findings. This is stronger evidence than message frequency or a list of activities.
SECOND STUDY · EARLIER COLLEAGUE EVIDENCEColleagues validate Miguel’s regression findings, act on his feedback, merge his Unity work, and turn to his technical experience. The signal is positive—but narrower than “everyone thinks everything is excellent.”
Excluded: all Adam-authored feedback, Miguel’s self-assessments, bot-generated praise, the earlier studies, and messages from September 18 onward as evidence of sentiment.
Included: earlier colleagues’ own work discussions, with favorable signals and integration corrections both retained.
This is a separate evidence pass, not a blinded experiment: the analyst has already seen the earlier discussion. Exclusions reduce the immediate-feedback influence; they cannot eliminate all interpretation or selection bias.

Merge and issue-closure reports support real contribution. The same record contains audio-assignment correction and lost-work recovery; useful work is not the same as error-free work.
Colleagues refer troubleshooting and localization work to Miguel. That suggests reliance on his experience. Task assignment alone is not proof of affection, overall satisfaction, or a performance ranking.
Peer discussion supports Miguel’s localization role. Searches of the ForgeLessons channel and broader localization discussions did not establish independent peer satisfaction with the web app, adoption breadth, or measured time savings before the cutoff. No favorable rating is assigned.
Quotes are exact excerpts; unquoted entries are paraphrases. Each interpretation is deliberately narrower than a company-wide reputation claim.
“Also the new cases from Miguel are legit. He's regression testing to get a new Phase 1 build out”
The surrounding conversation asks which cases to prioritize. Jonathan confirms these are real regressions supporting the release—not needless ticket churn.
Read original message ↗“Miguel knows how to fix it. Or at least he has fixed it in the past.”
Carl directs a hardware/software troubleshooting discussion toward Miguel’s prior experience. The qualification is preserved; this is not a claim that he can fix everything.
Read original message ↗Brandon describes completing motor-grader highlight art fixes, including an improved inching-pedal highlight Miguel called out. Programmer integration was still needed. This establishes follow-through on a finding, not full release completion.
Read original message ↗Justin reports rewriting parts of the tutorial after tickets came back from Miguel. That is observable influence on implementation; it is not a personal endorsement by itself.
Read original message ↗“Merged in Miguel's work and moved a few GitHub issues to done.”
A colleague reports integration and issue closure on Halliburton. This corroborates delivered work beyond Miguel’s own updates; no code-quality rating is inferred.
Read original message ↗Ken asks whether to pass the case to Miguel for three localized translations. This shows an established handoff expectation, not measured satisfaction with ForgeLessons.
Read original message ↗In the update reporting Miguel’s work merged, Carl notes fixing a wrong audio assignment on step 8. A concrete integration correction belongs in the record. It does not establish who introduced it or a recurring performance problem.
Read original message ↗Carl reports reviewing Miguel’s Lesson 3 VO branch and manually restoring work that had been lost. The source does not establish why it was lost or who caused it.
Read original message ↗For a decal bug Miguel filed, Brandon asks whether the decal is required and flags the cost of another texture map. Not every accurate visual discrepancy automatically deserves a fix. This is a prioritization tradeoff, not a criticism of Miguel’s character.
Read original message ↗Without Adam’s feedback, the sampled record still reads as a useful, relied-on contributor whose QA findings affect real work. It also shows ordinary integration and prioritization friction. It does not justify either “universally praised” or “performing poorly.”
The concrete development themes are to verify audio mappings and merged lesson integrity, and to distinguish release-blocking defects from optional visual fidelity improvements. These are operational recommendations—not a diagnosis of a recurring individual weakness.
