REVISION 3 / TARGETED GAP REPAIR

Dozer Engine · Gap Repair

200,000 triangles · 1,211 seam pairs stitched · 1,262 small holes filled

Drag to orbit · Scroll/pinch to zoom · Right-drag to pan. Neutral inspection material; the downloaded FBX retains its material. Viewer geometry comes from the re-imported final FBX.

Improved, Not Fully Sealed

This pass bridges nearby matching boundaries and fills small pinholes, narrow slits, and irregular holes. Larger openings and ambiguous boundaries remain. It is not a watertight model, and not every remaining opening has been proven intentional.

A blanket volumetric repair was rejected because it destroyed CAD surface detail. The targeted repair avoids indiscriminately capping recognizable round ports and bolt holes.

What Changed

Open-boundary length decreased from 615.42 m to 445.86 m under the existing scale assumption, a 27.6% reduction. This includes internal CAD seams and designed openings—not a measure of visible crack count. Engine dimensions remain approximately 1.685 × 1.047 × 1.068 m; original CAD units were interpreted as millimetres.
